About the role:

Your main objective would be to support a dynamic team of Product Managers with market intelligence by translating data into business insights to support smart decisions. On top of being a data expert, your business acumen in market trends and activities would be expected to improve the overall performance and competitiveness of the Product Management Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Product management and Sales team by data & market intelligence to drive smart decisions
  • Prepare sales forecasts and monitor sales performance and TIM (Total Investment to Market) related KPIs
  • Collate and analyse information on industry developments, market trends, competitor dynamics, customers and consumer behaviour in order to support informed business decisions and identify market opportunities
  • Provide insights on competitor strategy, including strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks
  • Conduct broad data analysis to understand market, sales, vendor pricing by:
  1. Brand portfolio analysis (regional and by market) and business reviews
  2. Competitor strategy (pricing, positioning, NPD - price positioning, competitor set evaluation, unmet consumer needs)
  3. Market/Industry Trends: New categories, new channels, new technologies
  • Create regular, high quality PPT reports, dashboards and project reports maintaining a cohesive content and logical storyline, to reflect the information to the team and management in an effective manner
  • Provide insights and data based strategic improvement suggestions to team and management
  • Monitor and report market and competitor activities and impact, conduct market sizing and identify new markets and business opportunities.
  • Take ownership of database and data system maintenance necessary for projects and department functions in collaboration with others
Requirements: 
  • Minimum of 5-year experience in marketing research and/or analytics, preferably within electronics/technology industry
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with major statistical and market research tools
  • Advanced MS Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Power Point and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in both, written and spoken, English
  • Good general understanding of Sales and Product Management
  • Ability to deliver complex information in clear, simple and compelling manner
  • Good general business sense and interpersonal skills to communicate and influence  different internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrate positivity, discipline, commitment and strong work ethic within fast paced business environment
  • Bachelor in information Management, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields is a bonus
