As we continue to grow and shape the future of sustainable energy, we invite a new colleague to join our cross- border Growth team as a Waste Manager to play a key rolein enabling the success of Gren’s Riga Waste to Energy development project.
Job description:
- Secure long-term waste supply contracts with municipal and private partners, including waste management,landfill, and industrial waste companies.
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across the waste value chain.
- Lead negotiations and ensure effective execution of waste supply agreements.
- Initiate and support the development of legislation related to waste and residues (including fly and bottom ash)in collaboration with national authorities.
- Oversee waste logistics, including supply planning, quality control, and supplier performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role involving procurement, logistics, or supply management.
- Background in waste management, fuel procurement, energy, utilities, or industrial logistics.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Existing network with waste operators, municipalities, or industry players will be considered an advantage.
- Fluency in Latvian and English (for communication with colleagues and partners located outside of Latvia).

Monthly Salary:
Monthly salary starting from 4800 EUR Gross. Salary will be determined based on the candidate’s experience,skills, and overall suitability for the role .
