You will lend a hand in integrating the Baltic States into the European rail network and building a new economic corridor to bring long-term benefits to the Baltic region and its people. You will work with a cross-border team of more than 200 brightest minds in the industry.
- Participate in preparation of progress and financial reports to respective EU institution.
- Develop analysis of Grant Agreement financial status.
- Take part in preparation of Grant Agreement amendments.
- Participate in budget preparation of project application as per 'Call for proposals for EU Action grants.
- Be involved in evaluating and managing risks related to cost eligibility and double financing across the Grant Agreements (within the scope of the Grant Agreement activities).
- Be involved in revision of projects technical progress (milestones, scope, justification for delays etc.).
- Higher education in economics, finance or business administration.
- 2+ years of proven experience in financial controlling.
- Excellent MS Office, specially MS Excel skills.
- Experience in preparation of EU project proposals and management of EU funded project reporting will be considered and advantage.
- Experience in work with EU institutions would be regarded as advantage.
- Highly organized, self-motivated and energetic individual who has analytic mind and can both see the larger picture and dig-in details for daily tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Latvian and English (for cooperation with colleagues and partners outside of Latvia).
